The guild was founded in 1962 by Diana Miller Arlyck to establish and maintain high professional teaching and ethical standards, exchange music-related ideas, information and fellowship among colleagues, and promote music education in our community. The Guild has received the County Executive Arts Award for Service to the Rockland Community.
